Warms Hugs to Everyone Out There!

I know everybody is so busy for the interview assignments and so many things in life. But I can’t let another day again passed by without sharing with you my magical experience in the call conference last June18, 4 am. ( This is a delayed posting , I was away for four days community work) It was a magical feeling, speaking and listening to all amazing women on line! For a moment it took my breath away. Listening to Cristi so with Jenni talking on the line about journalism and answering questions from us was so great! Wow! Feeling really groovy with this amazing technology and being with powerful voices of women globally is but a remarkable learning experience for me.

I’ve realized my everyday life here in Pulsewire is not only a discovery of wonders but a fantastic journey of conquering fears of uncertainties. From the very day one, my only desire in joining VOF is to learn how to write and to make PulseWire a place for ventilating our aspirations as Filipino women. But now I think I have more than enough of what I’ve got here. It’s more than just learning how to write , it’s an exploration of the world of technology , exploration of the unknown , exploration of the wonders of life, exploration of friendship, love, tenderness , commitment and women’s struggle to make this world a beautiful place not only for women but of the entire human race.

My heart dances with happiness swaying in every musical beat of PulseWire and VOF family, bringing me to higher heights of my life’s journey. The steps may get harder as I dance higher but the price of learning is worth the trials. I may not see personally the women behind my learning journey for now, but to them I greatly owe this once in a lifetime place I’ve never been before. My commitment is yours and for all the suffering women all over the globe as we dance together in this wonderful place called “Women’s Struggle for Global Empowerment”.

I know what you mean, I missed the conference but love this place and the woman here too!

You put it so well! thanks for this post and putting such a beautiful image of us all dancing toward the stars together!

Hi Maria! Sad to know you missed the conference. But don't worry, there will be lots of chances still. Thank you for appreciating my description of us! You're one of the many stars here in PulseWire. Keep twinkling brightly!

love to you, malaya

I am laughing out loud because I immediately pictured us sashaying. But then I wondered, "What exactly does one do when she sashays?" So I looked it up.

Sashay. To strut or move about in an ostentatious or conspicuous manner

And then I thought, ya! Let's sashay because we are women. Let's sashay because we are wise, courageous, funny, loving, passionate, and fierce. Let's sashay because we are meant to be seen and heard. "One voice at a time, millions of voices strong. Until the sound is so deafening, the whole world will hear our music." And dance, of course.

Bundles of laughter too for you Jen. It's nice to dance with you too. I hope someday we could be together in persons and dance till the morning in celebration of our newfound freedom! Keep dancing and laughing with love!

Hi Malaya ( your name is beautiful, however it's meaning is not so nice in the swahili language)

Great! I concur!

I truly enjoyed the conference after such a hustle. THe journey is more real, tangible! I'm sure i will have an easier time at the next call. The technology was so new to me, now its not.

I think the dance is powerful and it will get even more powerful.... I also hope that someday we can all transcend space and meet each other!!!

Yehey! Happy reading your lines , it feels like finding a friend along the way to the call conference afraid of getting lost.. Such an awe-inspiring feeling and very rewarding after getting through. Thank you for appreciating my name - its means freedom. yah, the friendship is much realized and consummated when we can transcend space and borders. Who knows in the future , we can see each other - i'm really looking forward for this momentous event in our journey , the culmination of all these fun and hardships we are in. Let's keep our fingers cross my friend!

best wishes, malaya
