It has been a behavior to most Africans and in Uganda particulary that we want to be given every time and which is a poverty mentality.
On my first trip to U.S. i learnt alot from the people i met, many friends donated shoes, clothes and scholastic materials to Orpharns and poor children. Most of the people who donated didn't have a lot but it was giving out of love & care. I believe this is a true Religion the father(GOD) accepts and faultess is " TO LOOK AFTER THE OPHARNS & WIDOWS IN THIER DISTRESS" JAMES 1:27. In summery about giving to someone, it is ephasized in the bible that " IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECIEVE " ACTS 20:35
On 24th-January -2010 we organized a WOMEN OF HOPE DAY
As i told you before, the women of hope have to learned how to give back not because you have alot ,but God blesses you more if you give to someone in need.
I told them to go into their communities and look for the poorest woman whom they think woould need help, we will have Restored Hope to her, the husband, and the children and the community as well
Miriam Kizito was chosen & she was a Moslim, before, married to Nassib Kizito who is a motor cyclist and that is how he earns a living .They have 5 children and pregnant.
It was an amazing to her & the community and alomst to everyone. we treated her as a queen and the Husband tesified that he never managed to buy a cloth for his wife because of his income and the demands at home. The women of Hope said this was a great orpportunity for them to give to some body and of rescent some have benefited too .
THANKS TO ALL PEOPLE WHO GIVE AND TEACH OTHERS ALSO TO GIVE BACK TO THEIR COMMUNITIES THAT ONE WAY WE WILL ALSO FIGHT POVERTY IN AFRICAInternational Women's Day 2010: Women Can Build the Bridges of Social Change
