Being the part of the Women LEAD Nepal

Women LEAD Nepal is an organization focused on empowering the young girls through leadership development and advocacy training for one year. I became one of the 30 leaders of 2015 in that organization. Involving there for a year, I got an opportunity to learn about public speaking, leadership development, and many other self-development skills. I did four months School Leadership Program in one of the schools of Kathmandu valley where I gave training to class 9 students about leadership development with my co-leader. It was a great experience being there. The training actually helped me to boost up my confidence and develop me as in person. Later,  I was also involved in UNHCR’s Refugee Orientation Program as a self-defense instructor where I with my team provided self-defense training to female refugees from Pakistan, Somalia, and other Asian countries in my home country through it. Hence, I learned a lot from there and I am really grateful to Women LEAD Nepal and the members and also my co-leaders.
