Union busting in Turkey by USA companies

I don't know how you personally feel about unions but it is important to let these companies know we are aware of what is happening at the very least! This is from the International Labor Rights forum that I received today:

It is important because we can not sit idly by and think 'Gee, that is too bad.' but must become involved in helping change things. Here is a way to add your voice to the many others who feel it is wrong to treat people this way. When your life is so busy it can be hard to find the time to do something meaningful for others. Sites like this one have a thing you can sign up for and they will send you an email to let you know when something important is happening that you need to be aware of. So please follow the link and at least read about it.

It is such a shame that these companies target that American ideal of "I got mine, you go find yours" where you can get it cheap but the cost to others is so huge that it is not funny. The huge amount of money they spend on tv commercials would be more wisely spent by paying fair wages to everyone and so improve everyone's lives...
