RADIO PROGRAM TO EDUCATE THE YOUNG GIRLS ON SEX

following the research which we made in almost 10 villages of the south west region cameroon, we found out that there was a very high rate of teenage pregnancy, early birth and abortion which many a times lead to death.

It was a great privilege to be given the opportunity by Anang Christy of woman in me program on the Calvary good new radio to sensitized the population on the important of our parent to talk to their girl child on sex education, with the few question we asks some of the young girls during our field work,we notice that they had limited knowledge on what is really the meaning of sex, most of them think that is just for plessure.

if they are given the proper knowledge on sex especially in the remote area the number of teenage pregnancy will reduce,our parent think that is an immorality for a woman to talk about sex to her children.

The response of the program was overwhelming as we got a series of calls from both the young girls and women who wishes the program will continued.
