Did I hear u refer to ur wife as lazy woman who does nothing but stay at home? Let me ask you a questions do you know she works 20hrs a day because of gender division of Labour? She cooks, she cleans, she take care of the kids at night she satisfied u... Who pays her for this work... U dare refer to her as jobless. Do you know without her the economic will not grow. If she does not cook for u.... How will you work in an office with an empty stomach? If u cloths are dirty how will work.. If ur home is dirty how will work in the public sphere u claim to for male. The need value the work of women done at home.

Thank you for sharing your voice! There are so many layers to this issue... how roles are negotiated within relationships, how our cultures and economic realities influence the negotiation of those roles, and how society chooses to value the caring work inside the home that is typically associated with women. I love where you start, with recognizing the important work that goes unpaid, unheralded, and taken for granted. The women you describe are the opposite of lazy! They are heroes holding together their communities!

Dear MBA_MANAPEU,

This post shows your bold voice. This is such a difficult issue in so many communities, and our sisters around the world are struggling together to look for solutions on the recognition of their sacrifices and hard work.

Please keep sharing your voice and bringing solutions to all of our global community.

Ooohhh dear MBA I can feel you on this issue. That's why I say the solution to the shades of gender violence depends more on a change in mentality. So many have understood no to physical violence, yes to economic and social empowerment but very few are ready to do "mentality empowerment"

I feel as to laugh when I contrast the idea of " laziness" and the amount work done in day by the supposed lazy women. Don't you think women should renegotiate their identity in marriage.
