Diligent African Women Network (DAWN) Summit 2013



Overview: Ikra Educational Training Centre (IETC) Tanzania in collaboration with inspire me Cameroon with other local and international organisations and agencies would host the Diligent African Women Network (DAWN) Summit 2013 at a landmark and historical summit, Business Expo and the 1st Awards Dinner. The DAWN Summit wishes to be the main driving force in Africa and the Diaspora in helping the worth of women business owners and professionals to be highlighted, networked, by both mainstream and women business community.



The Summit hopes to become responsible for networking women and mainstream public and private sector within the continent of Africa and in the Diaspora. Working closely with counterparts in Europe, Asia and North America we hope to inspire African women to come together to share, succeed, learn and profit. Led by inspire me CEO Mercy Shu and IETC Executive Director, Rosemary Olive Mbone Enie, the summit is planned for Dar es Salaam Tanzania October/Novermber 2013.



As part of the African Women Decade Celebration 2010 - 2020, we would launch the First DAWN Awards, where we would see a tradition of celebrating Top African Women business leaders, which includes professionals from across the Continent of Africa and the Diaspora. With 20 categories, we would ensure that, there is as wide a spread of possible industry sector.



Who Would Attend:
Anyone interested in starting a business, business start-ups or SMEs, wishing to grow their business. All industry sectors are welcome. If you are looking for access to finance. ICT, training, business support, contracts, new metworks, mentoring or just like minded people.
If you are interested in meeting and finding out more about women's networks and business arenas, policy makers, local and government officials, funders, or are interested in keeping abreast of topical SME issues, how policies impact on women;s own businesses, you should attend. Corporate Managers, Non Profit Making Organisations, regional development agencies and enterprise agencies are also welcome.
