About Me: I am the mindfully fun family coach at Mindfully Fun. I empower families to reconnect deeply, with greater ease and joy, through my parent with peace in 4 loving steps coaching program. As a women owned small business owner, my work is for a higher purpose, to empower women and girls worldwide.

At 18, I was a young mother. At 19, a single mother, who wanted more for herself and her son. After finishing my bachelor's degree and then master of business administration, and now having 2 daughters, my life purpose is devoted to empowering parents, families, women, and children. I cannot express the importance of education and the value it has served in my life.

My Passions: forwarding my message, coaching, parenting, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, laughing, living

My Challenges: Letting my voice be heard, having time for everything I want to do

My Vision for the Future: Girls worldwide with equal access to education and entrepreneurship

My Areas of Expertise: coaching and business entrepreneurship

I encourage you to participate in our "Girls Transform the World" digital action campaign which runs until May 10. For more information, please go to this link http://worldpulse.com/campaigns/girlstransform and click on Submit Your Story! You'll then be taken to a page with the Submission Guidelines and all the relevant information.

What an inspiration you are! Teenage pregnancy is never easy and can be the beginning of a dark, downward spiral but you've managed to turn it into something very positive by starting your own business and dedicating your life to empowering families toward deeper connection and joy; a very necessary and noble life's work! Though I have no children of my own, I've always loved kids and have thoroughly enjoyed living vicariously through family and friends who have graciously shared their children with me over the years!

I believe that the importance of education simply cannot be overstated. Ensuring children everywhere have safe, secure access to a full education is one of the most challenging and important issues on the global agenda and one that I'm proud to be part of! Through online platforms such as WP, organizations such as Room to Read and initiative such as Education First, people from all over the world can unite and become a powerful force for change!

I notice that you enjoy yoga and laughing and was wondering if you've ever tried laughter yoga? If you haven't and you can find a meet up near you, it's definitely worth your time! In case you're interested, here's a link to a site where you can search for a meet up in your area: http://laughteryoga.org/ . Every time I've gone to a meeting, I've laughed for almost the entire time, usually for no reason except the pure fun of it! Even when I've gone in feeling kinda funky or down, I've always emerged feeling happy, calm and less stressed. In my book, few things top the transformational power of laughter!

I haven't been a member of WP long but I've found it to be an active, supportive community with an empowering message so I encourage you to explore the site and interact with the community.

Again, welcome and I look forward to hearing your voice in the community!

Kind regards, Debbie
