Introducing myself and my journal: Ripples

I had the pleasure of hearing Martha Llano, Sarvina Kang, and Beatrice Achieng speak in Portland on October 8th as they were starting their tour of several cities in the US.
Displaying humility, humor, and humanness, we heard the stories of their journey to becoming correspondents for World Pulse.

With 5 sisters I find it strange that I was only one of 2 men in the room.
I can not imagine anyone in the room was not deeply moved by the open raw appeal made by these travelers.
We make a difference in a myriad of ways. Having the courage to talk openly about difficult topics, speaking up where there is silence, and taking the lead where others are reluctant.
