Introducing myself and my journal: Positive Peace Possibilities

About Me:
I am an artist and researcher. I work with visual arts, media and new media for peacebuilding and educational projects. I also work on research projects that involve socio-economically and politically marginalized people, especially women. I am also a doctoral candidate (2010) with School of Education, Indiana University, USA. My research involves interactive media and peace education. I have an MPhil in Communications and Media Studies (2009) from Coventry University UK, where my research explored the use of interactive documentary as a peacebuilding tool. I have an MA in Design and Digital Media (2003), from Coventry University, UK and BA in English and Economics (1998) from Delhi University, India.

Formerly I am qualified in clothing technology (1994) from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, India and I served the clothing industry from 1994 to 2001, when I left the industry to pursue something that can make a tangible contribution to society and make my life more meaningful instead of losing my soul in the corporate world.
