Let's celebrate, let's reflect, let's gather and move forward together!

Hello to all....

It has been wonderful to read the outpouring of celebration here on PulseWire. I feel that while the joy is abundant, there is also a sense of loss as this phase of your formal training has completed. As we move toward the next step of the program-- the Global Correspondents Network-- I think it is important for us all to pause and reflect on our magnificent journey together.

About eight-months ago, you all signed up for this new experience. Perhaps you felt excitement, perhaps uncertainty. I know that here at the World Pulse office we were a true mix of those two feelings. I felt the potential of the program, but had no idea what a powerful experience this would be for me personally. I have learned so much about the world through your voices. I feel that this is just the beginning, and we will continue to shake the world awake from a deep slumber. Each day, more and more people are awakening to the future that is here now...a world where women are fully valued and heard.

So, how can we wrap up this phase of the program with a BANG!? I would like to schedule a time, or create a place, for us all to gather and share the joy of a job well done. All of you are winners. All of you have contributed your self fully toward this program. And, we hope that all of you will continue on as active leaders on PulseWire, and in your communities.

It is my sincere wish that we could all come together and share here. What is one of your favorite memories of the program? What is one thing that happened that surprised you? What do you feel was your greatest success? How do you plan to carry your new knowledge ahead?

I will be sending out a survey so that World Pulse can learn what worked, and what can be made better for next year...but, let's use this post to leave comments and thoughts of CELEBRATION, REFLECTION, and the POSSIBILITIES that we can see now with new eyes. I am truly inspired by what we've been through together. I know that everyone has wisdom to share, and I know that you are all less shy about sharing now! Hehehe.... Please, ladies, don't hold back! Show us the way forward from here. Believe it or not, we're here to learn from you. You are the reason we exist. You are the gems that make World Pulse sparkle. You are the Voices of Our Future who will show the world what is possible when you give a woman a chance to speak her mind freely. Thank you a million times for your courage to be here.

With my deepest gratitude, respect and love, Scott

Hi Scott, Our journey with the WorlPulse have been a wonderful time, My class mates were wonderful i want to say that i have enjoy our sharing together our encouragement for one another and love for one another. The WorldPulse team have been superb with their hard work day and night through out the program, their love and encouragement for all of us. Our mentors and midwives did a tremedous work, they have been wonderful through out. The knowledge i have aquire from the programe would be useful for me for life , it will help me to fulfil my dream of helping the women in my community. My greatest success was when i was announced as the candidate for the scholarship, i felt overwhelmed with joy and gratitudes to the WorldPulse, my class mates, my mentor, my midwives and as many that contributed one way or the other to that success. I know by the time i finished that empowerment programe the sky will be the limit of the exploit i will be able do among the women of my community, i will continue to be grateful to Worldpulse for this programe for ever. This community could continue if we can be having a form of topic to writing about if it can't be monthly at least every two two month. Some of this articles would be featuring on the worldpulse magazine.

I really want to appreciate you Scott for taken over from Jennifer, I believe you are going to do a wonderful job among us because i know there are still some men out there that respect women and believe that they have to be given equal opportunity to reach their greatest height. Thank you very much.

    With love and respect Busayo

Thank you Busayo for your kind words to me, and to everyone in this VOF community.

You are doing great things already, and as you say, the sky will be the limit once you've completed your Empowerment Training! Who knows, maybe even further than the sky?!

As far as continuing your writing, we hope you'll post new stories every month! We can offer topics, but wouldn't it be great if each of you suggested topics or ideas for assignments? I think you all hold so much wisdom, we're only here to support! The magazine is always on the look-out for top quality stories to publish, and you, the Correspondents are fully trained as citizen journalists!

I appreciate that you shared your experience with us. Anyone else have comments of reflection?!

    With so much love, Scott
