VEGANISM: The prime factor for world peace and security

From the following disadvantages of meat diet below, caused me to adopt a vegan lifestyle. Its peace, loving and compassionate. Meat diet has been causing me a lot of sickness, suffering and loss of finances for curing illnesses. Other animals diseases include bird flu, mad -cow disease, swine flu, monkey pox etc. It was causing hunger in my home due to food shortage and water shortage. I often used up most of my grains,water harvest and income to support my poultry farming . Animal waste was causing air pollution, making my family and i to have health problems. I realized that my poultry farm was emitting green house gases (methane) which is the prime cause of global warming and the world 's climatic threatening factor of world peace and security. The effects of the global warming has caused water shortage which my community and other parts of the world are experiencing. My children and I will often ravel far off distance to valleys in search of water . Dwindling water supplies have made my farms not to have good yields. My community and the world at large is experiencing drought and heat that is ruining my crops and making it difficult for crops to grow on my farms and elsewhere. This creates food scarcity and rising prices. Meat diet often causes health problems ,it causes cancer, burdens and weakens our organs , and can destroy its functions. It also causes cardiovascular disorder, and above all can cause death. I have always been diagnosed with high cholesterol levels and urea acid which was causing me a lot of body pains. All these made me to adopt a vegan lifestyle to help eradicate these acids in my system, and to prevent all other health problems emanating from meat consumption. By so doing my health was secured, giving me gladness and peace peace of mind. An expert Dr Miller carried out a research on two mice, one on vegan food, another on meat diet. Results stated the vegan mouse lives longer, has greater resistance to diseases, and recovered quicker from illnesses. This also apply to humans who eat this peaceful vegan foods which is more secured unlike meat diet consumption. The fore mentioned disadvantages inspired me to adopt a vegan lifestyle. This diet helped to reduced the level cholesterol and urea acid which I had been suffering from, for a time. It has also helped to improve the cardiovascular disorder which I had . This diet, might help to prevent me from having order animal diseases. My health become stable giving me peace of mind, happiness and joy . This lifestyle creates peace with my body, as it has improved my mood and boost my immunity. I realized am now having greater resistance to diseases, always recover quicker from illnesses and will hardly get sick. I am sure to increase my life span as my organs will now remain strong and healthy. Unlike before where I used to be very weak when am sick , and was always sick. Now my health is more secured. In order to stop the emissions of methane, and other green house gases which had been the prime cause of about 80% cause of global warming. I stopped my poultry production, and turned to a plant base farming completely . This will drastically help to reduce almost 80 % of global warming . This tells me that, the more I eliminate meat and all animal products from my life, the more I have the chance to save the planet and to restore more climatic ,environmental, air, water, food and financial security. Vegan lifestyle creates peace with others. When I resort to plant base farming, I was no longer having problems with my neighbours who used to complained that my poultry production is polluting the air and bringing them discomfort. It also created peace with my pets as i became more loving and compassionate to them. Thereby enhancing their security , and other endangered species of animals are saved. I drew my inspiration from the Supreme Master Ching Hai. She is a spiritual teacher, a humanitarian artist and a vegan artist. Her book , \"From Crisis to Peace \" inspired me to adopt a vegan lifestyle, and to become loving and compassionate to all sentient beings . Her book, states eliminating live stock production will reduce 80% of global warming. In the year 2002, I changed my life from meat diet to a green peaceful diet . This was not easy as I went through a lot of challenges. Just to eat food without flesh was a problem. I didn't know how to cook balanced vegan meals and the kind of foods rich in protein . I visited a vegan family in another city who helped me so well. They taught me how to cook vegan meals and how to prepare vegan meat from flour called gluten, and tofu from soya . I learned how to grow muchroom which wasn't easy. I stayed with this family for two weeks, it wasn't easy to stay out of my home for two weeks. Finally I overcome my challenges, and today am a vegan for sixteen years. It is healthy, it's economical, it's loving and compassionate, it's noble, it's peace with the climate and the environment etc. I am therefor using this platform, to call on other women to change from their meat diet to a green peaceful diet. So that together we can join our voices to change the world to a green peaceful diet. It's the prime factor for world peace and security. I also want my fellow women to understand that, the peace of the world lies in our plates. The more we women eliminate meat and all the animal products from our lives, the more we have the chance to save the planet from global warming, and to actually restore world peace and security, and also to reduce most of our health problems. We can achieve this by stopping animal farming and turning to organic plant base farming. Am also encouraging our women to open vegan restaurants. Women should go eat vegan foods in these restaurants, so that more restaurants will be open. It will then encourage more cooking of vegan foods. And gradually the world will turn to a green peaceful diet. Thereby bringing about 80% reduction of global warming. In conclusion therefore, we as women can contribute to world peace and security by simply adopting and promoting vegan lifestyle. Also by changing from animal farming to plant base farming , will not only benefit us the women but will bring about world peace and security. Why not even a green and peaceful world .
