Chapters of my life

So many questions was there in my mind, when I started travelling, I have been visited so many different places in my country but this was like my dream place as most of the Indian's dream too.I was also little bit worried about the place and weather which is different than my current residence city. My flight from my city was forty five minutes late, I was thinking about the place where I have to be. I never been Kashmir before as I have been hearing so many different opinion about this area. It is a conflict area, people like to be here but they are scare. From my childhood I am hearing happening  in Kashmir, that violence is there, attack by arm force and citizens have problem.

I have planned my travelling but so many thoughts were there, I was confident to be here, as it was not like tourist visit, I wanted to work here, as I worked in other areas. I have planned to meet different community, to whom will meet when it was depend on the person who has hosted my visit.

But, yes my first day in Kashmir was wonderful, I took a train from Delhi to Jammu, get into taxi from Jammu, as I told to take sharing taxi, which is comfortable as well safe. Two more young boys and a couple from UK, were also with me in the same car, it was long seven seater car. I asked to driver about the travel time and other question, the boy sitting on front sit started talking with me, he was Adil, my first friend in Kashmir, earlier he was working with airlines after sometime he left job as there is a too much formalities they have to do, so he wanted to live satisfied life, and now he is having a cosmetics and textile business, for that he frequently visiting Surat Gujarat which is my state, I was surprise to heard that, I saw a sweet packets from the place in his hand, he started sharing about his visit and about the food how different culture is there in our area and how they are different. The couple from UK was also visiting Kashmir first time, as they were also in the same train in which me and Adil has travelled. They asked why are you going there. I have to do some project, I said. The taxi driver was waiting for some more passenger, for all of us, it was like no other option, no hurry, no worry, lets wait...!!! and after sometime a young boy came driver charged him some more amount and told to us to start journey, all of us were so happy as because of him we are now able to move. He was Asif, he set on front sit because he paid some more amount.

It was around twelve oclock and we started our journey, still it was plane rode we were passing. I was so curious to know about everything in Kashmir, and Adil was the best person to share with me as he had already idea about my state. He was explaining everything like my guide, I was asking questions, the interesting point came when we pass through the 13 km long tunnel it was the first experience in my life that without suffocating I pass through such a long tunnel. Still, it was Jammu's area and Adil told me that when you will be Kashmir you will breath different air everything will change. I was so exite to see that. We took a lunch break in between and started travelling again They both were so nice, they took care of me like a guest.

After crossed the Chennai tunnel which is 2.5 km long, we enter in Anantnag, I saw a differnet people which I have seen only in television or in print medium, they were wearing a long dress to covered entire body because of cold. I saw only man as it was now going to dark slowly, it was six, but because of weather it was dark. Anantnag is the first town of Kashmir, from where you can see the difference which already told by Adil. I have seen different trees here and feel fresh air. This area was more colder than Jammu, chilled breeze was there and I started feeling like I am in different world. Adil already did coordination with Asif for me and told him to support me when I will be in main place where I have to be. He asked me and contacted the person to whom I wanted to meet. This was the expericne where I forgot everything, they took my care like a sister and Adil passed my responsibility to Asif and he was nicely taking care of me. He is working in Mumbai and was coming after eight months, his familiy was so exite to see him again as he was too exite to be at home, but he was so nice that taking care of me and when we enter in the city, he coordinate with Dr.Shaikh who was suppose to come to receive me, Adil took me with him in his car and drop me carefully at the place, which was my final destination...

This was my first day, even late evening in Kashmir, whatever I told, I heard or predicted by others was differnt, my expericne was differnt and I will never forget this hospitality of Kashmiri's so many things is still going on but this was my first day, isn't it amazing experience...!!!
