Introducing myself and my journal: Communication for Development

About Me:
Over 15 years of experience in leading and managing a renowned non-profit organization. Special expertise in democratic governance, rights based development, sustainable development, social service delivery, institutional development and human rights advancement including especially the political, economic, and social development of women. This has provided hands on expertise in organizational development and management, strategy formulation, program planning and delivery, knowledge and innovation management; monitoring & evaluation, accountability and performance evaluation, communications, liaison building and networking, orchestrating partnerships, resource mobilization, capacity building, advocacy, negotiation and mediation, and organizational change management. In addition, a successful track record of quantifiable at fundraising program development and managing for impact has been achieved. It has also brought in exposure and learning through leading numerous short duration assignments/projects which include designing and delivering technical assistance, development of communication material, reviews, designing and conducting training workshops, launching short term studies and researches for civil society organizations, academic institutions and private sector institutions.

Over 5 years experience of external supervisor and evaluator for MSc level students as affiliated with two Universities in Faisalabad.

More than 10 years experience as a freelance journalist with national newspapers in Pakistan. I also worked for radio Pakistan, Faisalabad as a script writer, content designing, and translator and hosted various programs on current affairs, women and youth issues.
