Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am a social scientist that is dedicated to exploring and advocating for feminist issues. My research combines my commitment to feminist activism with my interest in diverse communities, sexual and reproductive health, and body politics. My social science training focuses on qualitative and quantitative research design and methodology. I have previously worked as a researcher for Colorado College, for the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research, for the University of Chicago, and for a health clinic in Kathmandu, Nepal, as a buyer and training coordinator at Whole Foods Market, and as a field organizer for the Feminist Majority Foundation. In the future, I hope to leverage the research and writing skills I've gained at the University of Chicago with my experiences in global human rights to impact programs and policies that affect women, children, and families.
