I CANT SPEAK BUT I HAVE MY STORY,STORY WITHOUT A VOICE?who tells the story better than the victim?

From the 2nd – 5th July 2014 at Fulbere Dairy Cooperative Ndop, these skilled pastoralist women drawn form 3 local communities Wum, Ndop and Bali in Bamenda Cameroon were converged to gain a higher level of Knowledge and skills and later on serve as expert trainers for their pastoralist women. SNV within its food security program with the facilitation of COMINSUD carried out a training to enable 8 Cooperative members gain higher level knowledge and skills to serve as expert trainers within the Network of Dairy Producer in the North West Region.
Just like thousands of skilled women in rural communities who are contributing to development these women would like to share their story, they would like to raise their voices and show the world what special persons they are as individuals and to inspire the world and women like them who still live in the darkness of cultural practices,to let them know that they are making a difference.
I remember how excited these women were, to see themselves in a Camera and the series of questions they had asked me ranging from how to use the camera to what i was going to do with the photos.I couldn't understand how they felt not being able to share their own story because i have never been dumb and of course i started being able to share my experience as early as i was 5 on television and radio. Can anyone understand how someone has a story but they can share because they don't know how to?because they don't have the tools to?i cant but I am sharing their story using my own voice.
If each one of us must truly be a woman in the world, then we must make the most of our potential and
we want to give all women in the world opportunities worthy of their potential,a foundation for their dreams and a sense of limitless possibilities, then we must raise their voices.making the most of my available tools to share the story of the voices which cannot speak and wish i could do better than speak for them.
