Introducing myself and my journal: Speak Out Women



About Me:
OGORK KATE is a Cameroonian woman, a teacher by profession who has been teaching for 15years.She is now an administrator and occupies the post of a Service Head at the Regional Delegation of Secondary Education, South West .
After her Bachelor's degree in English, she proceeded to obtaining a Higher Diploma in Teaching; But with an interest in Women's Welfare, she went ahead to read Women and Gender Studies at the University of Buea where she obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Gender Studies. She has been helping women in the little way she can, especially in areas like \"educating women on HIV/AIDS, Women's Rights etc.
She has also carried out research and written a paper on Female Genital Mutilation in Cameroon(case study of some Manyu villages in the South West Province). Presently she is the President of DELESEC Ladies, a female Professional group, and is an EXCO member of her female church group.
