About Me:
Ogunbowale Oladayo is a Clergy, involved in youth development and policy enthusiast, democracy and good governance advocate and a social media buff. His experience spans across project incubation, execution and management, developing social media campaigns for social causes and policy development for youth organizations and government agencies. Earlier in the year (2012), Oladayo was selected among 32 youths drawn from within member states in sub-Saharan Africa for Africa’s biggest Youth Democracy training programme (DESPLAY Africa) organised by Youngstars Development Initiative, where he emerged as the Current President of the Season 7. He also interned for 2 months at the Oyo State House of Assembly under the Legislative Internship Programme of Africa Leadership Forum.
A ‘Fellow’ of DESPLAY Africa (Season 7), Certified Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) ‘Peer educator’, Holder of LEAP Africa’s ‘Values and Leadership Skill Programme’ certificate, Online delegate to the 2012 ICPD Global Youth Forum in Bali, Indonesia and Alumnus of Africa Leadership Forum ‘Legislative Internship Programme’, One time Chief debater and Coach of Faculty debate Team and two time Chief Editor of Departmental Editorial Board in the University. PD, as he is fondly called by friends has attended several and facilitated over 20 youth capacity building sessions in over 10 major cities within Nigeria and Ghana. He is currently an Associate Pastor with Communion Christian Centre, Ile-Ife where he pioneered the establishment of both the Obafemi Awolowo University Campus Church as well as that of the Pre-degree Campus Church in 2009.
Oladayo loves working with computer devices and hence manages an ICT business (Flo.com Investments Ltd) an outfit he established in his penultimate Year at Obafemi Awolowo University where he studied Soil Science and Land Resources Management.
