ITS BEING A WHILE!!!

i have truly missed the assignments and the write-ups.More so the individual posts from all over the world.Am wondering what everyone has being up to!
i have recently had to visit the girls i teach in a high school in lagos,Nigeria.; go there every forthnite.This time i went to teach them a Craft and to show them that there's dignity in labour.It was a fun outing for me just to to see their faces as they made their personal pieces.I personally think that girls need to equip themselves for the future intellectually,morally and physically.they need to build confidence in themselves.a young girl with a high sense of dignity is a change agent first for her family and the larger society.
i asked them the lessons they have learnt so far all through since i started the program with them and they had quite some things that were common. Thet said that.....they need to be make their parents and care-givers their friends:issues on budgeting their little financial income and making sure they don't put themselves @risk for sexual molestation.
i was impressed that even though i dont work for the organisation i volunteer for, i have in my little corner made some impact in the lives of future generations.These are future wives;sisters;mothers
....am fulfilled!!!
