The African Union at the conclusion of its 23rd Ordinary Session of the Summit of the African Union concluded in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea on 27 June 2014 declares the year 2015 as the “Year of Women’s Empowerment and Development towards Africa’s Agenda 2063”.

Following from this, the the African Union Commission's Directorate of Information and Communication publisher of the AU ECHO is calling for paper submission to a special edition on the Year of Women’s Empowerment and Development towards Africa’s Agenda 2063.

Deadline to submit papers: 10 November 2014

Submissions will be accepted in any of the AU languages i.e. English, French, Portuguese and Arabic
