Introducing myself and my journal: Human right defender



About Me:
Outaleb Fatima is a member founder of Union de l’Action Féminine, UAF executive board member and director of UAF shelter for women victims of violence.
She is a member of the human rights follow up group MOROCDH for the implementation of the treaty body recommendations.
Her academic and professional training has essentially been in Education and Human Rights, a diploma in women’s rights from Raoul Wallenberg Institute and a certificate from the Human Right Treaty body recommendations at the National level.
She is currently Sipu local partner in Morocco for the implementation of a regional training program on Gender Equality .
She is IFES local advisor on Moroccan women’s status SWEMENA project
She is a member of the piloting committee for the program on shelter staff capacity building and understanding of domestic violence run by Danner and funded by Kvinfo.
She has also worked as a consultant on gender equality and a trainer on gender and human rights instruments namely CEDAW.
