Welcome to this great network! In the few weeks that I've been participating, I've already been touched by the stories that people share. Your challenges and vision match some of what I've seen in other people's journals, too.

You may have heard that there is an opportunity to submit stories for a future publication. To find out more about the program details, check out the My Story page on PulseWire:

Enjoy your explorations and the new connections you develop. Marlies

Hello and welcome to PulseWire! I've just begun connecting online here, and am excited to read first hand accounts and stories from countries, towns and villages around the world. I think this space offers such a great opportunity for that, which is hard to find anywhere else. As you noted, great international news coverage is hard to find in the U.S.

I second Marlies regarding checking out the My Story page for submission guidelines. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on what the word "land" means to you. (

All the best,
