JUSTICE SHOULD NOT BE BIASED

Since the beginning of capitalism in Europe in the fifteen century, Africa in general and D R Congo in particular are victims of this new system of exploitation. After the slave trade that domesticated more than 300 million of Africans in America without mentioning a million of unknown of other Africans who passed away while crossing the Atlantic ocean.in fact, came the period of colonisation in the eighteenth century. During this period, the D R Congo paid a heavy cost:" Red rubber" which is today compared to " blood minerals" of the Eastern part of D R Congo that have already caused more than 5 million of deaths. During that colonial period under the domination of Belgians with king LEOPOLD II, not only Congolese were undermined but were also killed like flies. 5 to 8 million of Congolese were killed at that period of rubber exploitation that could help in manufacturing tyres. Other remaining Congolese of that massacre found their hands cut off. The great sorrow is that Belgians have never acknowledged, confessed, apologized for this crime on large scale against humanity. Though human living is sacred. It calls to mind what Martin Luther King asserted:" we will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of good people" (April 16 1963)
