Introducing myself and my journal: Spiritual Journeys

About Me:
Aho

My name is Patti SpiritDancer, of Cherokee, Choctaw and Scottish descent. I was adopted at 5 months of age,a nd did not discover my full heritage until 35. I always, however, felt a calling away from organized religion towards native and celtic spirituality.

I have been blessed in my life to have had many fine spiritual teachers, from which I would not be the person I am today. I have been fortunate enough to experience more than most will every experience in their lifetimes...at times I feel I have lived five lifetimes in one.

I feel very strongly about issues surrounding all native peoples, women and children and social issues (poverty, homelessness, violence against women) and want to share with others in helping to bring to the forefront through writing, music, events so we can empower one another to take action.

I look forward to sharing and caring with all of you in this wonderful forum.
