Dearest Faida,

Welcome to PulseWire!

It's wonderful to see you here on our network of grassroots women leaders, like you, from all over the world. I encourage you to apply for the Voices of Our Future Citizen Journalism and Empowerment Training Program. It's an excellent program that opens the door to many exciting opportunities, connections, skills-building, and visibility. I think you are a perfect fit for the program if it's of interest to you. Please take a look and join the group to learn more and begin the application process in September: http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups/37925

And I hope that we can connect in person when I'm in Bukavu! I am very close to finalizing my travel dates, but most likely will be in Bukavu September 12-22. I will let you know more when it's confirmed, so that we can arrange to meet! I would love to also visit your projects and meet your husband to learn more about the incredible work you're doing there.

Also, I wanted to introduce you to my friend CongoLeezza, who also lives in Bukavu and works to empower women and people living with disabilities. Maybe you already know her? See her PulseWire profile here: http://www.worldpulse.com/user/8919

In friendship and solidarity, Jade

In Eastern of D.R.Congo, are many things that still missing, like people are going in many challenges because of war and violence, and in the area

we are Lack of counseling for women in my region, after many people who was traumatized , but as other Organizations are doing and giving support is only for few step because of lacking the expect counselors, I'm familian with this, but I thanks God for time I was spend in Nairobi and met with a Counsellor who help me a lot and after that, I join the Counselling course and Mediation with Entrepreneurship. however in the area we still lacking more Counselling material and who may train us more. at our program we have several groups we are serving mostly are the women from displaced groups, young single mothers from 14- 25 years Old, with HIV Infected women, team from World Pulse was visited us here in Bukavu and met with some of those women for interview, we are thanking works that Raji and Cynthia did here, the video has some details, I'm was translated and Described about where D.R.Congo is located as Heart of Africa and if Heart is sick all the boy maybe coming sick, in the Video I'm with blue cloth http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ob_ySQc-2Ds
