I-imagining the consequences of violence against women

This image speaks a lot, firstly because it has an impact on the woman involved and second the child besides.

A woman in such conditions, cannot be happy and productive. After this incident of violence, just take few seconds or minutes to think about her day. She will be crying all day, try to take care of her bruises or pretend Infront of her child, forgetting the child already saw it. Imagine a situation where the woman is all alone in the house, what can she do to herself, she may turn to alcohol, hurt herself, no work for her. In this case who looses? the society! many women go through violence every day. Which development do we seek to attain in such a situation?

Now let's take the case of the child, a child saw these manifestations at home. When he/she goes to school, he/she thinks about it all day, the lessons taught are gone to waste because the child is distracted, some traumatized, unhappy and frightened. These are the children we call the future of tomorrow. Are you seeing a bright future in this case?
