Tribute to VOF 2013 Applicants

Fellow VOF 2013 applicants, as the final week of the application process comes to an end, I am urged to pay homage to all who inspired me in different ways. I will always remember the following:

Aminah, the courageous woman that shares her inner demons and gives hope to others
Kirthi, the woman who always posts her assignments early
Sharontina and Mukut, whose comments you can find on almost every post
Binti, the determined Kenyan woman
Ola who is stirring the move for a better future for women in Sudan
Otto, the only man in a league of women
Rochelle White, who believes in the power of a woman
Petunia, the Nigerian with a passion for change
Nakinti, my very own sister who is such an intelligent writer
Stacey the creative writer who is not ignorant of her creativity
Saving Angel, the woman with the passion for women and children
Maya Norton who takes refuge in Web 2.0 though in a war zone
Mr. Beckbeck who always gives us tips on how to navigate through the site
Zoe and Delphine, our very sweet administrators, always offering a helping hand

…I could go on and on for the list is endless. From various parts of the world, I have met amazing women here!
In our own different ways, we are so talented and we speak the same language, the language of change. The application process for VOF 2013 is rounding up but World Pulse continues to roll. Let us continue to make use of the wonderful opportunity here to share our stories, our thoughts and our solutions. It has been an absolute pleasure knowing you all.

Much love
Precious
