To those who didn't make it

I know how much you were passionate about this, how much you sacrificed, how much you gave up to ensure that your assignments were completed on time. When the application process was over, you were confident and hopeful that you will be chosen.

When the day of announcement was approaching you became impatient. Your heart panted and you so badly wanted to know if you had been chosen or not. Then the list was published. You scrolled through it, you did not find your name. You scrolled again and again. Then you scrolled one more time to be sure you were not missing something. I can only imagine the feeling that came upon you when your name was not on the list.

Your name was not on the list just because there was space for only 30. You remain an amazing woman and a wonderful voice for change.

My dear sisters, this is just a coma and not a full stop to your ambitions. Keep writing, keep speaking for the voiceless. Do not allow the giant in you to sleep. Let us keep talking here on World Pulse. I LOVE YOU ALL!
