Introducing myself and my journal: The Lotus Effect

About Me:
Hello! My name is Jenn Pretious Koh. I am a Heart-centred Social Mompreneur, Coach, Healer and Dancer.
I had the good fortune of being born in Mbabane, Swaziland in Africa. I grew up, was schooled in, and worked for most of my adult life in South Africa. Almost 5 years ago, circumstances brought me to Calgay, Canada, where I now live with my 2 precious sons.

My passion, personal experience and belief in the healing power of art, dance, music, alternative healing therapies, yoga, meditation, women's circles and storytelling and a burning desire to give back and make a difference has brought me dancing into this space. I am currently midwifing into existence the birthing of my personal vision of creating global physical and virtual healing, arts retreats and cultural-arts festivals for underprivileged women around the world, where a privileged woman is able to participate in a virtual and/or physical retreat while sponsoring an underprivileged sister.

PWPI is a space in which women can rediscover who they are, remember their purpose, regain self-esteem and dance back into their communities with a belief in infinite possibilities and renewed strength and courage. The retreat is a springboard from which women will form celebration hubs where they will gather regularly with other women to inspire, encourage and support one another. We aim to connect women with grassroots organizations which empower women through skills development and micro-lending programs so that women can build sustainable businesses within their communities for example: marketing and selling their products internationally through fair trade.
