Since July 2009, I have been a friend and occasional mentor to a unique high school for girls run by the Bangalore Municipality. Unlike most such institutions where student attendance, staff involvement and infrastructure quality is poor, the committed teachers at this school ensure the regular presence and all round development of their students who largely hail from economically backward families. Here is my story about this inspiring institution:
