Keep the Protest

We write, we speak

While hearts we seek

For the unheard and unseen

We stand, we march

With or without a torch

For the unknown and unsung

We scream, we cry

Until our tongues and tears dry

For the unwept and unsaid

We must keep the protest

And still resist

For you, me and all

Else we will but fall

The commitment of a few grassroots activists who advocate relentlessly, for the human rights of all, inspired me to pen the above lines last year. I feel they're valid forever and for everyone.
