"VOF Week 4: (Unit of Power)."

Studies around the globe have shown that significantly increased levels of women's participation and leadership along the political or every spectrum are necessary for transforming the terms of political debate and implementing policies that advance the human rights and well-being of all people. I strongly believe that women, working in partnership, will learn the skills and implement the strategies needed to secure human rights, contribute to the development of their communities, and ultimately create a more peaceful world.

Personally I believe on collaborative power. Power of work and unity. My vision is to see women performing her duties as she want. A clear and free vision. I am a Pakistani woman and in Pakistan women are so deprived, she has no powers. If someone looks in power that is just like a roll play in drama. Because there are so many reasons behind them to pressurize. It is very difficult for a woman to make a decision for herself even at every step of life. Considering the diversity of Pakistani society, female empowerment has different meanings or women from different strata. Her status is always lower than the male partner. She is underprivileged in getting education, food, health care and freedom of choice of partner, number of children and other essentials of life. No wonder Pakistan is among those countries where women live shorter than men do. Like many other legitimate and logical issues, in Pakistan gender issues in general and of men in particular are an untapped area of research and occupy no position in the policy and snatch no place in the planning process. Every night we see a new dream and next day we wake up for try to bring that true.

In last decade, I have been get in touch with training and development, monitoring and evaluation, event management, design and implement training programs, research projects, and practical inputs for policy making. I have actively been involved in forming community organizations at grass root level mostly in rural and disadvantaged communities in the country through providing trainings on social activism, community empowerment, participatory management, human rights and gender mainstreaming in nation-building and all these are duty of a correspondent and I am trying my best to take advantage of all above these.
