Pitch Your Story to Women News Network

Dear Correspondents,

Many of you have heard of Women News Network (WNN) already--including Nilima whose feature story on Chhaupadi was published as one of their feature stories, and Emie, who will soon have a feature story published by them as well. WNN is dedicated to empowering the voices of women internationally. They have a readership of over 320,000! Their team produces feature stories for international women's news that aim to educated the public, NGOs and UN agencies on the issues that matter to you.

Lys Anzia, the Director of WNN, is very interested in publishing VOF Correspondent voices and has asked any of you who are interested, to pitch her your story ideas. The only catch is that your stories must be new stories--ie, they cannot be the ones you wrote for VOF. But I am sure that won't be a problem for you.

To pitch her your idea, please email her directly at womennewsnetwork@gmail.com, and include the title \"VOF Journalist Query\" in the subject line of your email. If you need help remembering how to pitch a story, please review Module 3. WNN is a core partner of World Pulse, and Lys is very enthusiastic about VOF--so please take this opportunity to get your voices out there.

This is for all Correspondents, from 2009 and 2010! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Rachael
