Small ripples.....

Good Evening (depending on where you are!),

I am an online hotline counselor for RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network) and had a session today that warmed my heart. While I am not going to go into details for privacy reasons, the woman I spoke with was struggling due to a rape that she had unfortunatly experienced. But at the end of our conversation she thanked me and said that once she has healed herself she plans on becoming a counselor and helping others who have been raped....and she said she would not have been able to help herself if it were not for me. So by me volunteering an hour of my time today I healed someone who will turn around and heal someone else.....and so on. It is the small ripples that we create in this world that spreads to others and helps to heal those that have been hurt in this life. So no matter how small you may think the work you are doing is, don't forget how your gift of helping and healing women and girls that have been abused in whatever way is being passed on.
