Afghan Women's Voice Rise Up

I thought I'd share this article with the World Pulse community:

In case the link doesn't work, google the New York Times article entitled "Afghan Women Protest New Law on Home Life".

It is difficult for me -- a woman who lives in a relatively liberated cultural environment when it comes to gender relations -- to grasp what it must be like to endure this kind of (legalized) misogyny. These women are amazing and courageous. Hopefully, their numbers will grow.
