About Me:
Raymond ukwa is a leading Advocate for Nigeria and also a development knowledge facilitator.
He believes sustainable development is not the sole responsibility of the Government, but young people need to play key roles to reduce poverty and hunger and increase the standard of living in Nigeria and the world at large.
He has vast experiences in volunteer programs. He was a youth Volunteer for stude...
nts Advocacy on MDGs, in Abia State Eastern Nigeria. He was a youth Volunteer trainer on the awareness, sensitization and reduction of HIV/AIDS in Abia state supported by the NYSC and USAID.
He was a youth volunteer speaker in the U.N millennium campaign Stand-Up Take Action events in which about 117 million people in 137 countries across the world participated in almost 8 thousand registered events. More than 40 million of this were from 42 African countries in 2008.
He currently serves in The International Youth Council Nigeria, as the Chairperson Abia state chapter, a world Youth Alliance fellow, One Young World fellow, a fellow in the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Director of Pubic relations in the Agape force team, a co-founder and chief Executive Officer Of the Golden Eagles Foundation For the Youths, the grand pioneer of THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE GIRL CHILD INITIATIVE just to mention, but a few.
He has numerous awards in human service and contributions to youth development.
