Bay Area folks: Passing on invitation from Mu Sochua - house party tonight

Hello, all - I spent a lovely morning with Mu Sochua today here in Berkeley, talking about the current political situation in Cambodia, her work there, and her vision for the women of her country. Watch soon for a special World Pulse update and video!

In the meantime, Sochua asked that I pass on an invitation to all of you in the Bay Area to attend a small house party tonight, where she'll be talking specifically about Devi House, an umbrella group of grassroots women organizations working for social and economic justice in Cambodia. (For more about Devi House, see her April post on the Resource ExChange board.) Sochua and I talked at length about the progress they've made, and they definitely have some exciting projects in the works.

If you're interested in meeting Sochua tonight and hearing about Devi House yourself, send an email ASAP to Morry Hermon at mhermon (at) berkeley.edu for more details. And, let him know that you heard about the house party on PulseWire.
