I was born and bred in the shadows of High HinduKush peaks of Chitral.
I have been teaching at College level for 32 years..
I wrote six boooks on Chitral and HinduKush culturres:

1, HinduKush Study Series vol. ONE and Vol. TWO
2. Chitral- a study in Statecraft bublished by IUCN
3. Chitral Tour Guide Book
4. Kalash Tour Guide Book
5. ISLAM misrepresented by Muslims

At this moment I am working on women and children health... my latest initiative is: training of 10 midwives which started since June 1st 2010 to continue for a year.. This midwifery training programm is intended for the stranded valley of Terich-CHITRAL where women and children suffer the worst due to blockage of road owing to avalanches in winters.. The women suffer in delivery cases and the same is for the babies.

I introduced TROUT fish in the Terich river in 2002,2003 and the population is now increasing very promisingly
I am in contact with a number of friends to come here to se the progress of the midwifery programm
I work for eco- tourism and have been a mountain guide since 1969 and organised two Swiss expeditions to two unclimbed peaks of HinduKush... as adventure tourism brings summer income to the members of my community working as porters, cooks, guides, etc.

Promotion of TOURISN in the HinduKush chain has been one of my activities to create income for my people and open this region for potential customers and lovers of adventure/ culture/ research tourists
I am working for environment and for protection of WILDLIFE by preserving wildlife habitats...
