our customs and wife
In my country women are not considered in any area, even our customs always seek to neglect women. As you can notice, in a family we have girls and boys, but at the time of inheritance, girls don’t have access.
And you will hear “Mwasi atonga ka mboka te” meaning a woman can never build a country.
The woman always takes the second place after the man everywhere; at home, in church even at work.
Certain customs don’t want to send girls to school saying ''masomo ya mwanamuke inaishiya mu mafiga'' meaning; the education of the woman has no value. All of this is just to under estimate the woman. This is why the woman stays at home taking care of the children and the home chores.
I would like that all the girls should go to school and learn how to know their rights.
