Introducing myself and my journal: PorVida Notes

About Me:
60 Year Chicano (Mexican-American Indio) activist. My focus is por vida activism-- connecting our communities to our essential life-affirming nature and our ability to evolve into being individuals, families and communities that are more courageous and loving. I was blessed to be the house papi for my daughters and to have maintained a consultant practice that works in supporting proactive organizations to be their best. My most recent book is Family Activism (Berrett-Koehler, 2008) provides ideas and tools for creating the change we desire in the world beginning with all those relationships close to us-- our families, friends and co-workers. I do leadership training for the Rockwood Leadership Institute. I believe much of the power and wisdom for healing our world resides in the feminine perspective and experience.
