Women: A Journey to be Continued

Piercing looks and manipulating talks,
Commending voices and demanding folks,
From lashing words to their scorching desire,
I’ve been through all
I’ve been through all.

Enchained movements and my disdained voice,
Ruled body and my trivial thoughts,
From the showcase doll to a soulless corpse,
I’ve been through all
I’ve been through all.

Stammering words and my stumbling steps,
Blurry vision and my timid aim,
From a curled frond to a stout leaf,
I’ve been through all
I’ve been through all.

Challenging spirit and my rising moves,
Shattering tradition with my demanding voice,
From a provoked creature into a spreading roar,
I’ve been though all
I’ve been though all.

Till I am heard to the remotest north,
And Cherished by the broader south,
Irrefutable by the eastern powers,
And acknowledged by the western thoughts,
I dare to go through all
I dare, will go through all.
