Resign from employment to be a community resource woman

After finishing high school I went to the Government Training Institute to start my secretarial and book keeping cours, after two years I got my certification and I went to stay widh my uncle in Nairobi city and after one week I started to searh for employment.  I was waking up very early in the morning without having breakfast because there was nothing in the kitchen to be cooked and go out to the officers, industries, companies, Government offices and private companies to drop my  job applications. After three months resieved a calling letter for a job interview , it was on Sunday and I was to go for the interview on Monday so I new that I need strength to walk to that office the following morning so I decided to eat half of my supper and live other half for breakfast because my uncle does not provide breakfast for me. The interview went well and they told me that they will let me know the way forward soon, after five days I reserved a call to go and start working there and I was very happy and thankful to God for giving me the job. I worked with them for seven months then the boss started sexualy harassing me and when I stop him he threatened to suck from work. One day on Friday evening he called me to his office and when I enter he was standing at the door then he pushed me to the floor and starting to rape me, I was straggling to stand up and run away but he was heavy for me but I managed to escape when he was removing it from his underwear I kicked his private part and run away leaving him crying for pain on the floor. From that day I did not go back to work and when I got a nother job the case was just the same sex harassment and I decided to go back to the grass roots community health volunteer. In my village I found that there was so many rape cases and defilement and when I asked why I was told that there is water shortage in our village and women and children are going very fare to fetch water in the river and the way is through the Bush so the bad men are taking the advantages. After few months of thinking about what we can do about the future and the situation I came up with another idea and I gather the woman and told them that we better look for permanent solution and after long discussion I told them that we must start a project of digging boreholes so that we can get clean water near our homes and we all agree with that project the following day we went to the village elder and told him our plans and he called the all community for a meeting and when he announced the project we agree to donate and fundraising for the first borehole then after that one we got many more from well wishes and now we have treated clean water for our village because of wealth of a woman.
