"My angel, My mother"

\"All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother.\" Abraham Lincoln.

What I am today is all because of my mother. I owe her for making me a competent person in my life.

On the occasion of International Mother’s day, I would like to share some memories that I spend with my mother. In the word “mother”, it has got the divine power for me. She is the one who gave me birth in this beautiful world, without whom I could have ever imagined what the world will be looked liked. She nurtured me in her wombs for nine months enduring all the pain and gave me a life in this world. She guided me in my childhood and made me a capable person. She is my angle who fulfilled my every wishes of my life, supported me in every step, protected me, and always served me with a smile in her face. She provided me her shoulders to cry on whenever I need. Catching her forefinger, I learnt to walk. Though it felt hard for me to stand on my feet, she encouraged me in each and every step. She woke up till night when I used to suffer from the insomnia. She became anxious if I didn’t eat my food properly. She used to press my school uniform so that I could never get scold by my teachers. She used to prepare my school lunch box so that I could get to eat good food. She used to plait my hair and make two pony tails which I loved it. With her love and care, I am able to stand in this world. She is a great source of inspiration for me. I am greatly influenced by my mother. She is the great person I have ever seen in this world. Without her I wouldn’t have been what I am today. She made all her efforts towards making me a complete person.

Now I am living in Bangladesh for my higher education, far away from my home and my mom. I missed my mom so much. Now I only recollect those past memories that I spend with my mother. This day is the day that we should remember and pray for our mother for every precious thing that she gave us in our life. For me every single day is a mother’s day. My mom is a neverending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune. And I am really obliged to the God for blessing me with an angel in the form of “my mother.”
