Youth Innovation Challenge - A Social Incubator

Red Dot Foundation (Safecity) alongwith Developmatrix, The Urban Vision, Tata Capital and knowledge partner, the US Consulate General, Mumbai is hosting a social incubator called the Youth Design Innovation Challenge. 

The Youth Design Innovation Challenge is a derivative of the recently concluded Urban Thinkers Campus seeking to involve future leaders of the city – the youth, to play a part in solving gender equality issues due to rapid urbanization.

Themes - Gender, Safety, Mobility, Urban Environment, Governance Duration - July to Dec 2018 Submit your idea by 15th July 2018

* Team Composition :- Age group - 18-25 years Minimum 2 - 3 members Accompanied by Faculty from College (optional) Minimum one member must be a woman

* Criteria for selection of ideas:- Innovative and hyper local Addresses one or more of the themes mentioned Must have one woman on the team Potential to scale up

* Why you should apply- 8-10 best ideas will be selected by 28 July for mentoring by experts & professionals. All ideas will be published on the World Urban Forum (UN Habitat) website Cash prizes for the top 3 winners Opportunity for women led organisations to be mentored by UNDP India for the Start Mission of Government of Maharashtra
