Why most of our sisters are not connected

Internet use for women is not any easy task. she faces different kinds of challenges ranging from stereotypical thinking to woman’s low literacy rate which has direct effect on knowledge about computer use. Let alone the sudden power cut off to high prices of internet connections even the first challenge she faces is domestic, husband thinks use of internet has nothing to do with a married woman, father thinks it is spoiling our girls, even
Facebook, Youtube, Skyp and such social networking is like a taboo, girls whisper when they mention about their Facebook or Skyp account, even if they use fake name, fake profile picture and fake locations.
Famous Scientist Dr. Machio Kaku once said “when there is internet there is prosperity” but due to lack of awareness about technology and its importance they would better prefer to suffer then to move forward.

Proper training, which can develop better understanding how to be securely connected and make better use of internet , better connections which means an internet resource which can provide better speed and work with no power use such as power cable and plugs, and a laptop which can help overcome the issue of sudden power cut-off due to power shortage in our country and help in uninterrupted connectivity.

The possible tools and resources could have been the raise of awareness about the technology use such as internet, even if there are threats so instead of leaving the use of internet for the sake, why not to learn how to tackle those risks and enjoy this great global circle where we can learn, share and communicate.
When women should be properly trained how to handle identity thefts, blocking, reporting abuses and how to take benefit from it by exposing ourselves to a larger community where billions can hear our voice and can act with us together for a cause.
With me it was not much different, just the same challenges as I have described but it was my strength, to be determined, to work for it and to learn it I deeply knew this is so full of knowledge which can open me too many doors and will help me out to stand in a different line, learn from people around the world and tell them about ourselves.
I have been asked and still I;m being asked by many of my friends. colleagues who are well educated but have no literacy about computer use or internet they are teachers, housewives, young girls and elderly women, I do help them by making them learn to have an id on internet, sharing them links about the online courses which is relevant to them, to woman who are good in handicrafts I Google designs for them, I download lecture for my younger sister some friends and share with them. I show them use of internet practiiclally, or by on phone and even sometimes on SMS different steps, and tell them about the use of internet.
Nowadays 3G and 4G technology is introduced in our country which will boost up internet user’s number but, I am afraid there would be less number of female users not because they don’t own a phone but because of the lack of knowledge, proper training how to use internet and the last but not the least the stereotypical thinking because internet is not so casual here. it is not a thing of routine which can be unnoticed, using internet means you are up to something, and what is that that depends on the mentality of the thinker.
