About Me:
Samreen has a diverse field of interest and interventions as a researcher, media personnel, activist & a social development professional. She has been working with SPO (Strengthening Participatory Organization) in Training Unit . She involves in organizing events, networking and coordination with community organizations and maintaining documentation and research unit. Samreen has been a part of Shirkat Gah (Women Resource Center) in Reproductive Health & Gander Program, where she had conducted Gender, RH, HIV session in community, Participated in research, survey, trainings in Advocacy activity regarding this issue.
She is conducting a research study on “Women in Pakistan There Leadership role & contribution in Health sector granted by IIE. As a member of UNFPA youth parliament in Pakistan , she is extensively working on youth issues by engaging youth groups in RH, population and leadership capacity building and networking exercises from different platforms. She is a published Feature writer in various local & national level print media on the issues of Reproductive Health, women empowerment, youth and population dynamics.
Her dream is to link theory with practice in order to draw best practices from community work and social action
