STAY WITH ME

Will you be there every time, I look back

To listen to my stories, to appreciate my poetry

To bear the childish attitude, to accept the way I am

To encourage me when I am down, to bring me back when I am lost

Tell me will you be there?

Will you wave your hands, till my eyes see last glimpse of those

Will you hug me, when I will be back from a long, tiring journey?

Will you be there to ask for a little smile on my face, when I will be sad?

Will you be there to give me strength, when I will feel I am weak now?

Tell me will you be there?

Do you know the reason, why I am requesting you all these

Do you know, why I am trying to write all these

The reason is, I want you to stay with me forever and ever

Because, purpose of my every action seems meaningless without you

Tell me will you stay with me?

I love the smile on my face, when I am with you

I am strong enough to face the harsh truth of life, when you are around

I am ready to fly high and high, when I imagine about you

I am fully prepared to make you feel proud of me

But for that you have to promise me one thing

“To stay with me”

The only person, whom I love without any condition

The only person, who trust me more than anyone

The only person, who always wants to see me happy,

And that person is only you “Dad”

I request you to stay with me forever
