Self Care

What is one of the most important things, which most of us neglect or have very little time to think about? Everyday we don't forget to eat our meals, go to our classes or for work. We don't forget to watch our favorite drama serials( which I do) but if not all majority of us forget to take care of our mental health. I believe that in today's world, mental health should be considered one of the top most priorities for all of us. How to do that? It's very easy. We have 24 hours per day, out of which If we start spending 1-3 hours with our own self, that is call self care or self love, because you get time and space for your self. You can think what you are actually doing and what are you heading to. Are you taking proper and healthy meals, what kind of people you encounter on a daily basis, are you happy with what you are doing? I guess these are important questions, which we all need to evaluate. We all have the right to spend a life according to our own will but for that, first we have to examine that are we allowing our selves to love ourselves more than anyone else, because if you are happy and you do not have doubts in your mental health, then after that you can share your love with some one else. I really want to talk about that mostly, our youth faces mental problems but they don't share or talk about it, just because we don't care about it. Such mental issues then lead to depression, general anxiety and restlessness. We feel ashamed to talk to somehow how we feel. Sometimes I believe mental health issues are far dangerous than any other diseases like cancer. At least if you are ill, your family will always be there to take care of you, to make sure you have moral support and love. People commit suicide? Why? Because they are in such situations where they cannot feel contacted to anyone. Such situations lead people to take away their lives. So what we can do? At least from our side, we can try to develop habit of taking care of ourselves first. If people approach us with their problem, we can try to put ourselves in their shoes, instead of judging them or making fun of them because they way we speak has a very strong influence on other person. So, if all these doesn't help, there is one best way and that is reading " self-help books". Trust me reading self help books really help a person to heal, without any external support. Go and try it

How are you doing on this lovely day?! Thanks for sharing your concerns and solutions for people who suffer from anxiety, depression or mental health challenges. I had to stop reaching out to people pretty early on, personally, because in general, people don't want to hear about problems. I do agree on the self help books, for sure. Therapy, helped me to a certain extent, but spirituality is really what has helped me the most on my journey.
