Introducing myself and my journal: I carry the light within me!

About Me:
I considered a halo of darkness around my life to be the limit of my existence, beyond which I could not extend.
I set out to explore the circle of my boundary. Found out there was none; where ever I went the boundary just disappeared.
Then I realized…darkness was my limit …..but I carried the light within me!

Me... About ME?
Well I would like to call myself, a common Pakistani Girl.
May be a little privileged, being fortunate enough to study well, use my own brains and also having the right to express and say things that other girls around me just felt.

Having done my Masters in Accounting and Finance, I am presently working at Women Business Incubation Center (WBIC), Lahore; an institution dedicated to accelerate development of businesses owned by Women Entrepreneurs through providing an array of business support resources and services.

Spending the last twenty six years of my life in various parts of my homeland Pakistan, exploring its diversity, understanding the contrasting cultures; I have felt its soul, and its wounds.

Throughout my journey, one thing that I have always felt very deeply is the norm of discrimination towards the humans called women. Unfortunately, if this seed of inequity has its roots in traditions and is nurtured by the ego of the other human, it often flourishes and bears fruit through the acts of woman herself.

Though, in an environment of injustice towards all humans it is a challenge to raise your voice, but sometimes the only thing required is the first step and just your inner light to show the path.

My Passions:
Humanity and Peace

My Vision for the Future:
A Future... where each person strives for betterment of Humanity as a whole

My Areas of Expertise:
Writing, Entrepreneurship Development, Accounting and Finance .... and just being my self
