Introducing myself and my journal: A Journey with Letters

About Me:
Talking with a friend Dec 12th, 2013

Today, after talking with a friend, I have learned very important things from my friend. I have learned the meaning of life and living, when we are alone. My friend helped me to feel what hope could be and how it feels to be hopeful? How can we look for it, search for it, and finally find it? How can we fight with the struggles we face in our lives with hope?

Talking with my friend made me to be much happier. Talking with my friend made my eyes open to enjoy every thing coming in our lives. My friend helped me to see the progress in me and be proud of myself. My friend helped me to feel the growth and wisdom as making me a happy person. My friend showed me the hope as I am to my family. My friend made me to think about my abilities.

Now I am feeling very grateful, and good about myself and I see hope. Now I find myself very lucky being here at AUW with so many good and different people. I have learned so many things in this three months and 18 days. This place is becoming so interesting and important part of my life.

It is wonderful to be with so many great Americans and my England teachers and having them like my very good acquaintances, as leaders, brothers and sisters. They help me to learn a lot. In this distant place, I have changed. I have ideas and opinions, and I am a different person now. I am Shabnam Fayyaz now, I am the one who always wanted to study well, and studying creatively and critically. I always wanted to write. I am still the one, who has always had so many dreams, so many unusual but possible dreams, so many colorful and joyful dreams. I now pursue my dreams.

Thank you my dearest friend,
With regards,
Shabnam Fayyaz
